Description
The Evaporative Emission Control System prevents fuel vapor stored in fuel
tank from vaporizing into the
atmosphere. When the fuel evaporates in the fuel tank, the vapor passes through
vent hoses or tubes to a canister
filled with charcoal.
The
Caution for the Inspection and
Maintenance Test (With Electronic
Stability Control (ESC) system)
To prevent the vehicle from misfiring
during dynamometer testing,
turn the ESC off by pressing the
ESC switch.
After dynamometer testing is completed,
turn the ESC back on by
pressing the ESC switch again.
