Illuminated ENGINE START/STOP button
The light will go off after about 30 seconds
when the door is closed. It will also
go off immediately when the theft-alarm
system is armed.
ENGINE START
Starting the engine
WARNING
Do not start the vehicle with the accelerator
pedal engaged. The vehicle can
move and lead to an accident.
Wait until the engine rpm is normal.

Hood open warning
The hood warning message will appear
on the LCD display when hood is open.
The warning chime will operate when
the vehicle is being driven at or above 2
mph (3 km/h) with the hood open.
Closing the hood
Before closing the hood, check the

When the ignition switch or ENGINE
START/STOP button is in the ON position,
pressing the heated steering wheel
button warms the steering wheel. The
