Illuminated ENGINE START/STOP button
The light will go off after about 30 seconds
when the door is closed. It will also
go off immediately when the theft-alarm
system is armed.
ENGINE START
Starting the engine
WARNING
Do not start the vehicle with the accelerator
pedal engaged. The vehicle can
move and lead to an accident.
Wait until the engine rpm is normal.

Driving on grades
Reduce the speed and shift to a lower
gear before you start down a long or
steep downgrade. If you don't shift
down, you might have to use your
brakes so much that they would get hot
and no longer operate efficiently.
On a long uphill grade, shift down and
reduce your speed to around 45
Repair procedures
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to the BD group - "Crash pad")
3. Remove the BCM (A) after removing the nuts, connectors and antenna cable.
Installation
1. Install the BCM after connecting the connectors and cab
